Set in the plain, the airport is surrounded by mountains and the scenery is simply breathtaking whatever the season of the year. Admire the Alps, Serre Pon\u00e7on dam and all the gapen\u00e7aise valley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Gap-Tallard airfield is one of France&#8217;s best known for its parachute activities. Indeed, it is one of the main active centers. Other aviation activities take place on the airfield: light aircraft, helicopter, glider, gyroplane, hot air balloon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Several skydiving centers operate on the Gap-Tallard aerodrome. Cannes Parachute Club realizes its jumps at the <b>Regional School Centre Sport Parachuting Gap \/ Tallard<\/b> called <b>CERPS<\/b>. CERPS has two Pilatus and a modern infrastructure. In the shed of 800 m2, you can use the free WiFi. A snack bar is available as well as a restaurant on the aerodrome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The area is located approximately 10km from the town of Gap and 2 km from the town of Tallard. You can get there by train, bus or car.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The town of Tallard is famous for its <b>castle<\/b> from the fourteenth century, we recommend you to visit. You can explore this medieval city by strolling through its streets full of history.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The region is also famous for its fruit growers, including golden apples.
